As we begin to prepare for another successful year, I am delighted to announce that the Georgia Stars will be offering tutoring sessions for our student-athletes prior to Skills & Drills from 2pm - 4pm.
A very important part of the Georgia Stars mission is to prepare each student-athlete academically as well as athletically in order to achieve a college scholarship. The Tutoring Program will be structured to be supportive of that mission. We will offer the following;
- Individual and group tutoring
- SSAT review (private schools entrance exam)
- ACT, PSAT and SAT prep course
Please encourage your student-athletes to sign up with the program during Skills and Drills on the 14th. Don't wait until it's too late!!!!! Make their academic studies the #1 priority!!!!
Also, we are seeking high school honor students, college students, teachers or community volunteers to assist us with the program. If you or anyone you know love working with children and want to witness the spark in a child's eye when he finally grasps a concept he has been struggling to understand then sign up to be a Georgia Star Tutor.
